Eric Nalpas was born in Ontario, Canada on March 2, 1977 and spent most of his formative years in the Gulf coast beach town of Sarasota, Florida. Because his father was also a photo enthusiast, he became familiar with photography as a young boy. Yet it wasn’t until 2001 when he explored the vast and rich culture of the Basque region that he recognized his affinity for reporting about life in visually inspiring ways. As a traveling freelance photographer, his passion re-ignites as he travels the world, learning about various peoples and cultures while perfecting the art of communicating truth one frame at a time.
